I agree with you 100%. Having been married and divorced I learned the hard way. My first marriage died bloody. My second attempt is still going strong after 25 years.

The problem to overcome is marketing. We are hard wired to need a ring and a white dress to feel whole. Day one of your married life starts after “ and they lived happily ever.” Much like death our American society doesn’t talk about real married life. As a woman with several single young men in her family, I’m glad this conversation exists. It’s important to talk about death. Lol
